Later moved to Altona where he met his wife. Was a clothing merchant in Altona, Hanover, and Dusseldorf. Bückeburg was in the electorate of Hamburg; it is ten miles from Minden, and is now found in the North Rhine-Westphalia area. Altona is on the high bank of the Elbe, northwest of Hamburg, a port city connected to the North Sea. 2 Sep 1904 |
